I tried the new Chantico drinking chocolate at Starbears today after reading the recent LJ entry by ronm. Ron describes it perfectly: "It's like drinking chocolate pudding right out of the pan." It's a bit rich for me. It's not something I'd want too often, but would make a decent occasional treat. I'm not sure how well it will work. The barista uses the same steamer thing that they use to steam milk. I saw him wipe it off after steaming the chocolate, but I still saw a bit of chocolate remaining.

thanks for the recommendation, Gary. After having one, my brain went into combo mode. Must find the perfect match with having one of these decadent dessert drinks.
