(no subject)

We stayed in yesterday waiting for the arrival of Steve's new laptop. It arrived around 3:30pm, and he got busy setting it up. It's a cute little thing.

Watched all the people schlepping through the open house across the street. Also saw the honchos for the construction down at #80. There were also some surveyors out and about. Turns out #76-78 is doing some work, too, which involved blocking off part of our sidewalk with a pile of dirt. Grrrrrrr.

Went to All Seasons for dinner, bought a couple of birthday cards, then home for an evening of TV and laptops.

*YAWN*

Times like this is great for LJ so that I can live vicariously through your more exciting adventures!

Hair Doctor

Saw Dr. Feldman today. Up 20 pounds since my last visit. It marks my highest weight ever. He's just as thrilled as me. meaning he's NOT thrilled. duh

Viral load: Undetectable - YAY
CD4 Count: up to 490 - YAY
CD4 percentage: 11% - Boo. This cancels out the t-cells rise.

I see him again in 6 weeks.

Stopped by Male Image afterwards and slipped in before a rush. Michael had someone waiting after me, so he was quicker than usual. Not so pleased with the results, but it's just hair. Gave him his xmas card/gift, then stopped by Joseph Schmidt to pick up another gift on the way home.

Burglary

At the barber today a newly-do'd dyke was telling Michael about someone breaking into her apartment and stealing most of her clothes.

Me: So... did you call the fashion police?

Ceivo for Grandma

I just got an email from my cousin, Kevin. He is getting my grandmother a Ceivo Digital Photo Receiver for Christmas. I've seen these before, but never gave them much thought. Users can send pics to the owner of the Ceivo receiver, and the frame downloads 20 new pics everyday. You can add captions, etc., to the photos. This is a perfect gift for my grandmother!
