Saw Nate online yesterday. Steve let me know that he had stayed overnight in town, so I arranged for us to meet up with him for lunch. Lunched at Welcome Home. The fans didn't cool things off much.
Hung out with the large crowd at Starbears. There was a note that someone had walked out the door with the painting of Madonna with the Louis Vuitton background. Oopsie.
Nate came back to our place and we played Scrabble in the back. It was very comfortable in the shade. Some neighbors were having a BBQ nearby. We couldn't see them, just hear their occasional squeals. Also heard some crickets. Steve beat us at a couple games of Scrabble. We came in and sang for a bit, then went to Firewood for dinner. Remind me not to order their spaghetti next time it's a special. Nothing special about it.
Today Steve and I went to the 10:30am showing of Harry Potter on IMAX. I wanted to go on a school day. There were only about a dozen people in the theatre. Sweet. I didn't enjoy the movie as much as the first two, although it was okay. I know that great chunks have to be cut out from the lengthy books, but with the "Prisoner" title, it seemed that they'd at least explain the escape. I think my favorite part was Dawn French as the Fat Lady In The Painting. That woman always cracks me up.
Lunched at the Mexican place at Metreon, then Muni'd home. Got some shelving paper at Cliff's, then headed home.
