I wasn't expecting today be hotter than Saturday, but it certainly was. At least there was a breeze yesterday during the day.
We went to Castro Tarts for lunch. We went to Starbears afterwards around 1pm, but it was pretty deserted. Usually it's bear beach on a sunny weekend day, but I guess it was just too hot.
With the heat, Steve opted not to go to dancing today. I went, and we waited out back for awhile. Peggy was scheduled to call, but I guess she got Harlan to do it for her. He showed up, and we eventually had a square, plus a few more. There was one woman who hadn't really danced much in the past 15 years. She was a bit rusty, but everyone else for the A2 portion was at C1 or higher. The basement of Friends School was actually pretty cool.
We switched over to C1 at 4pm. Several people had to leave at 5pm, so we just called it a day then. There was some good dancing. I certainly enjoy this sport.
Got home an hour earlier than expected, but Steve was already gone. The LS usually has a great crowd on the Sunday in the middle of a 3-day weekend, but I have a bad headache, so decided to stay in. The Excedrin isn't do much so far. It'll just be an evening of TV, piano, and a bit of internet. I think the headache is stemming from my damn vision. Maybe time to put the eyepatch back in place.
