Most of the weekend was spent square dancing. I'll post separately behind an LJ-cut for that.

On Saturday, we went to Harveys for lunch. Later, we did go see Word Wars at the Roxie. It was an interesting documentary, following the tried and true format of following contestants in the months leading up to a competition. Most of these "winners" are capital 'L' Losers in real life. Real geeks.

Went to Joe's house that evening and picked up him and Peter to go to the Diablo dance. Joe lives in Bernal Heights. I've never driven throught that area before. Looks worth exploring, lesbians be damned.

On Sunday, Steve made a nice omelette for brunch, then we went to Midnight Squares for dancing. Steve left around 3:30pm. I got home a bit after 5:30pm, and Steve was already out for the evening. I checked emails, then watched some TV. Steve was taping The Sopranos on the VCR in the den, so I watched the Tony's in the bedroom. I'm not a big fan of Fiddler, but Alfred Molina was the hottest Tevya I've ever seen. Nice to see a Tevya with a well-groomed beard. WOOF. It was nice to see the sheer joy and surprise of the Avenue Q team for their wins. Kristin's bubble appearance was fun. I thought Kristin would beat out Idina hands down, but I was happy to see that Idina won. When I saw Wicked in SF, Kristin was out the night we saw it. Idina truly owned the stage for that performance. Steve came home around 9pm, and I missed about 30 minutes of Tony's due to logistics, but I got to see the musical numbers I wanted to see.
