Un-Boxing Day

fuzzygrufWe got back from Las Vegas last night. It's taken me a few hours to read the LJ entries of those on my LJ-friends list. I really enjoy reading about some of your lives.
I'll post about our Vegas trip in later entries. We had an okay time, but 3 days in Vegas is just too much for me. I did come home with a little bit more money than when I left, so that's amazing.
We exchanged gifts on Monday night. Left for Vegas on Tuesday morning and got home last night a bit after 9pm. It's nice to be home.
Spent most of today doing laundry, catching up on email and reading LJ. We went down to the Castro and I deposited some Vegas cash at the bank. Then we went to Harvey's for lunch. I got a b-day card for my sister and a thinking-of-you card for my 91-year old grandmother. Grandma Jane is having surgery next Wednesday to remove some cancer from her lip. I guess it's very painful and makes eating very un-fun. We then went to Starbears where I filled out the greeting cards. They seemed busy, but I only saw a few people I knew. Then we headed home.
Being Boxing Day, we unpacked several of Steve's boxes. Yeah! There are still LOTS to unpack, but we made a dent. Steve's been a good boy today!
