Xmas shopping & partying

fuzzygrufWe went to the Castro yesterday for lunch at Osaka and then did some shopping. I helped Steve pick out a gift for me and then I carried the bag home. As he says, "it's not my holiday." How convenient!
Steve napped, and I went out to pick up a few gifts for Steve. He doesn't get to pick out his gifts. It's not his holiday, afterall. :-P
Donned some gay apparel. Ok, bear apparel. Then we went to the LS for about an hour. I got to visit some with Vic & Dave. God, I'm gonna miss them when they move.

pyrogeoff was there, too. I sure hope his LJ account gets fixed soon so that I can leave comments. Seems it's a system thing with his account. Grrrrrr.
Just before 7pm we left with birthday boy Mike to head tobowlerbehrsf's party. Power was off all over town, so our drive was very slow due to non-functioning traffic lights. Interesting to see some blocks with no power at all, while others were just fine. Got to Jeff's and the power there was on indeed.
There was a good turnout at Jeff's party. Lots of square dancers in the mix. LJ peeps I saw:biggerzbetter, bluedevilsf, bowlerbehrsf, dhbearguy, drewbearsf, handlebear, qbear, and rootbeer1.
Jeff had the best punch. Aha! Pineapple juice was that flavor that gave it that great, non-citruslike flavor. Good stuff.
