fuzzygrufI got a nice email this morning from the manager who interviewed for that job a couple weeks ago. They've hired someone else, but assured me that with my background that I'm sure to find something else soon. The job I applied for yesterday seems more up my alley, so I'm hoping that works out.
I checked my schedule this morning and noted my 11am conference call. I went to dial in for it, and realized that it was at 10am, not 11am. Shit. I immediately called my boss, apologized profusely, and got the update. It's so unlike me to space off a meeting. My attendance wasn't vital, and I got the info I need to go forward. Crappity, crap, crap. My boss gave me some to-do's from the meeting, and I've done them all already, as much as can be done. I've even did some "extra stuff" to make up for missing the meeting.
The only work I have remaining for the day is a 2pm meeting. That is, unless I hear back from some people on outstanding items.
