Just another manic Monday, oh-ay-oh

fuzzygrufWork was dull. Our 10am meeting was filled with yet more requests from my boss for "sign-offs" at various stages. Craig asked pointed questions, and she couldn't really say what was needed. She kept changing the request. Her sign-off issue is the joke within the group. She's even requesting sign-offs for things installed to production a month ago.
Additional work was requested one month ago. I re-requested work last Friday. I finally got a new task yesterday. I'm doing the initial research, but it looks like it might be yet another item not meant for our department.
Got home and Double-0-Steven and I drove to Safeway to pick up some items. He ordered an anniversary cake to take with us to FCD tonight. I was grumpy and wouldn't let him order some bear cake. Too silly. Just give me something simple.
I moved a bunch of stuff out of the way to get ready for Wednesday's Merry-aoke. The place is a mess. I've still got LOTS to do tonight, but I'm not gonna stress about it. Love me, love my mess.
I headed to WSD a bit before 7pm. I stopped at DYMK to pick up an anniversary card for Steve. I just missed the #33 bus after my purchase, but I had plenty of time to walk to the venue near 19th & Guerrero. There were 15 people there, including Rich. Some students had to sit out or dance the "other" part since we only had one square. Rich did two short angel tips, but I didn't dance other than that. Kinda hard to be motivated to angel the class when so few others do it. Except for one guy, the class members are doing great. Rich speeded things up and taught them everything from next week. They later voted to be dark next week, so his quick pace paid off. Kev appeared in a good mood, or super-hyped on caffeine. Fun to watch. Josh seems to be enjoying the class more. Woofs. Steve made the announcements and mentioned the club party this Wednesday. He mentioned samples of white elephant gifts from previous years, and jokingly said "a used dildo." Instead of being offended, Josh piped up and said, "How big?" ;-) Kev & Josh gave me a big hug when I left. Made my attendance worth it. I left right before the last tip and managed to catch the #33 bus at Guerrero. Made for a quick trip home. I got there right after Steve. We played Scrabble, then watched some TV before heading to bed.
