Some people hate Christmas music. I love it. Your task is to let me know five of your favorite holiday songs. If someone has already listed one of your favorites, please list another one. I'm trying to see if I can round up music for Merry-aoke, so I'm looking for plenty of songs.

Here are mine:

1. Man With The Bag - Not sure if it's the song, or Len's voice that made it my new favorite.

2. Merry F*cking Christmas - Ah, South Park. Extra significance this year for India-bashing.

3. Angels We Have Heard On High - The first Christmas carol I learned to play on the piano.

4. Carol of the Bells - What's Christmas without thinking about Cold Duck commercials?

5. Christmas Time In Hell - South Park, again. Getting "Jeffrey Dahmer" and "Princess Diana" into lyrics of the same song is just plain brilliant.

My top 5!

5. Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy, Davie Bowie / Bing Crosby
4. Winter Wonderland, Cocteau Twins
3. 2000 Miles, Pretenders
2. December Will Be Magic Again, Kate Bush
1. Christmas Wrapping, Waitresses

1 - My Favorite Things - not specifically christmas but certainly appropriate.

2 - Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer

3 - Jingle Bell Rock

4 - Oh Christmas Tree - V Guaraldi

5 - Merry Christmas - Nat King Cole

Okay so not many contemporary songs but i'm just getting revved up for the holiday spirit.

My new Xmas songbook includes "My Favorite Things," so you're not the only one thinking along those lines.

My uncle gave a quarter to whomever sang the best Xmas song. I was about 7 years old and sang "Do You Hear What I Hear." I got the quarter.

I hadn't thought of the words until this season: "Do you see what I see? A star. A star dancing in the night....with a tail as big as a kite!" I'm guessing it has something to do with J. Lo....

Have you ever listened to "A Christmas Gift for you from Phil Spector"? This is one of the most absolute best Christmas albums featuring Darlene Love and the Ronettes.

I have mine in storage down in GA and am so tempted to head to Borders to buy a copy for this Christmas. Hugs.
