Sunday dancing

fuzzygrufGot up on Sunday, read the newspaper and let Steve sleep in late. Not like I usually wake him up on purpose or anything.
Played a game of Scrabble. Lunched at Firewood. Went to class from 2-4pm. For the first tip, there was only enough for one square, so we had to dance with Joy. It was bad, but sometimes it's just so bad that it's funny. Had enough for a second square after that, and I remained Joy-less the rest of the day. There are a few other people in class besides Joy who are really struggling. Double-0-Steven is doing well, so I'm proud of him. Seems like he's the only other one in class who studies before class.
Steve went home after class, and I stuck around for club dancing until 6pm. There were 11 of us, and eight of them danced C1. That made for good alternating A2 & C1 tips. Allan did a good job of calling. He tried to throw HARD Mainstream/Plus calls at us, but we were pretty unfazed. Lots of grunts of "Harder! Faster!" I think that the straight couple, Susan and Steve, got a kick out of it. Besides me, they were the other non-C1 dancers, so I got a chance to talk with them more during the C1 tips. I enjoy dancing with them. Ok, mostly with Steve. Straight bearded daddy-types who hug. Woofs.
Got home, and Steve was feeling like staying in. Cool. I went down to All Seasons and brought home some take-out. The woofy clerk at Phantom was outside smoking as I went home. I smiled and said hello. I love my neighborhood.
We watched Angels in America on HBO. Not having seen it or knowing too much about it, it was interesting, and left me wanting to see what part 2 has in store. Meryl Streep will get an emmy, no question. I had no idea that she was the Rabbi.
