Steve left after 10pm last night to go to San Carlos. I tried to go to sleep, but that 2-hour nap seemed to prevent that. Perhaps caffeine from diet pepsi and M&M's didn't help. Whoops.

The doorbell rang at 6am this morning. Some young latino was looks for Jeremy. Or James. Guess he had the wrong address. Looked like some hookup from m4m4sex or craigslist.

I got up and water the plants out back. The flap on the hot tub was askew. I tend to do that, but I fixed it last time. I thought I heard the new neighbors out there last night. I also heard some cat yelps later. Hope the neighbors and the cat yelps aren't connected.

Got ready for work and watered the front plants. The neighbor next door (Gil?) stopped by to chat. I let him know that the new people moved in upstairs over the weekend. He said "there goes the neighborhood." LOL. He pointed out that the street previously had almost all gay residents. He pointed out that the 5 houses across the street had gay tenants in the past, but over the last year it's all straights now. He had his dog with him. Looked like a black lab or similar. The dog's name was Ruby. WOW. Yesterday's post about Ruby and now this. [livejournal.com profile] drewbearsf is not my Ruby. Duh. His comment yesterday was that he's more of a "Garnet." LOL! My cousins lived in Garnett, KS, btw.

Got to work just after 7am. Already work in my email from James. He asked about some report and I had to research it. I was able to dig into the program and find the info. It's good when I can find this stuff. Makes me feel useful. He asked about the party. Guess he reads my blog. Hi James. Oh well. Guess I should tone it down about my boss. BITCH. ;-)

I've really dug in on researching some other project this morning. I'm spinning my wheels, but getting nearer to finding my answer I think. Just a LOT of work. Makes the day go quicker. It's good to get on the right track with something. My boss's typical answer of "check the SCHWeb" just doesn't cut it. Bitch.

John came over this morning to deliver my Mojo award certificate. He actually had it framed. He also got me a great topiary. In addition to being woofy, this guy is SWEET. I was in the middle of research, so didn't get to chat much with him, but it was great that he made the several block trip over here. He lives in San Leandro for those looking to mate.

Peg called. She brought in my TV today, so she'll be stopping by after work. I let her know that I have a board meeting tonight, so hopefully she'll get there fairly early. She moved yesterday and sounded exhausted. Lots of moving going on...
