Monday was finally sunny. I was pretty productive. I got some more stuff put away. Without Steve's stuff moved in, it's been a no-rush thing. It'll be so good once his stuff is up here, although it'll probably take a long time to get it all unpacked.

I looked out the back window, and bees were swarming in the neighbors yard. Thousands of them. They covered several yards, with some in ours. Something must have disturbed their hive or hives. We saw other neighbors on their decks watching the bees, too. We went out on the deck to go downstairs, and you could hear the buzzing. Very ominous. After about 30 minutes, we noticed that they dissipated.

We grabbed lunch at Firewood. This is their last week for 20% off on Mondays/Tuesdays. I had my usual Caesar salad with broccoli, mushrooms, and bleu cheese. Then we went to Starbucks and saw Chris, Brad, and John. I rarely get to see John anymore, so that was good. Too bad he's out-of-town for our party. Mario Champagne walked by. I stopped him to invite him to our party. He enthusiastically said he might come. Woofs. Steve Cosmo went past on his bicycle. I caught his eye, and he came over to chat for awhile. Cosmo agreed with me that it might be a better selling feature if Steve moved his furniture to the City and left his house fairly empty. Steve disagrees, thinking it looks better furnished. Grrrrr.

Steve & I then walked down to House of Futons across from Safeway. Steve doesn't have a frame for the futon he moved up here, so we looked at those. They have a floor model that he was liking. They'd be able to deliver it this week if he wants. He's still thinking about it. Maybe we'll take care of that tonight.

We stopped at Cala on the way home. Steve picked up some chicken for dinner. He made Chicken Cordon Bleu while I played the piano and then vacuumed the livingroom. He's a great cook. We also had broccoli. I can't get enough of that these days.

I checked my email and had a personal ad answered by a 19-year old. Egads. He's pretty woofy, though. And hitting 40 this week, it might be just the boost I need, LOL. Steve does boost me plenty, thank-you-very-much.

The cat from next door was in our yard. I brought out a saucer of milk, and she drank some. I'll win her over yet.

Harry Lit sent me answers for the newsletter interview questions that I had sent him. Yeehaw! One more thing accomplished. Between that, new board members, and Gay Pride, the newsletter content is pretty full for the next issue.

John Raynor sent an email to my bosses this morning, highly praising me for the exceptional work I did for him last week. That alone deserves a Lewinsky, LOL.

I finished reading "The Four Agreements" this morning. It's a "Toltec Wisdom Book" that Steve let me borrow. Penny had preached from it in one of her sermons. It's the book from where it points out that "it isn't always your movie." The four agreements are pretty simple:

1. Be impeccable with your word.
2. Don't take anything personally.
3. Don't make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.
