Steve and I filled out the domestic partners registration form today and got it notarized and mailed. He's a keeper. I told him I'd marry him one day in Canada, but only if he got his boxes unpacked. Let's see just how committed he is! ;-)

Congratulations!

Hopefully, one day, you won't have to go to Canada to get married. Seems like the kind of thing that will be coming along here in SF before long!

Are there plans to extend marriage to same sex partners in the US?

Hugs and Congrats to you and Steve from Mavis and Angus.

I keep telling Angus that we should go to Canada and get married there. Then come back to CT and file taxes together to see how the state reacts. Hopefully one day in the US, it won't be so much of a big deal for same sex to marry and have the same benefits as opposite sex marraiges.

Tell Steve that we know Ric Buell....he will recognize him from Eckankar. We were out to dinner with him last week and a old friend of Angus's.

Congratulations, Gary. I'm very happy for the both of you. You know, I happen to live in Toronto now. You should come visit us up here when you decide to get married. You're always welcome!

It was a dark and stormy night...

We had a notary visit our home for a refi. She also agreed to complete our domestic partners registration. Meanwhile, the wind picks up, rain comes down in buckets, lightning filled the skies, the lights go out, and candles are lit.

Oh, yeah. She turns out to be the daughter in law of Rev. Cecil Williams.

I hope you have a story to tell when you sign your partnership papers, too!
