He gave me the boot

I went to the custom orthotics place today and they measured me for a boot. They measured the good leg, then gave me the boot to use once my cast comes off on October 3rd. It sure seems more comfortable than the cast is.

I took my large backpack, and the boot fit inside. Whew. (Carrying things with crutches is tough. I find that I even use the backpack at home to carry things from one room to another.) Outside the shop, I ran into sflonestar.

The bus ride home was enhanced by whereispaco's Leave Britney Alone podcast.

Dropped off the boot at home. Met bigjohnsf for lunch at Miyabi for a Bento. John dropped me off at Starbears, where I met with Paul G. about one of his dance concepts.

So it's Friday. Now what?
