Went for a walk with Witten at lunchtime. Nice to get out, even in the heat.
Came home and spent the evening alone in the flat. I emptied another box and put up some of Steve's masks and stuff on the wall. Not sure I like, but at least the task is done for now. Ann & Rob had guests over until late. I'm sure it was even hotter in their upstairs flat. They seemed to spend most of the time out on the deck. The TV drowned out most of the noise.
Today I'm off to Guerneville on the bingo bus. Rhoda is coming with me. She called last night and wanted to drive. Um, defeats the purpose of the trip. With a full bus, I hope she stays in a good mood. She did say that she had messaged someone who was putting on today's beerbust. Turns out that they can't sell liquor. "Must be the no combining sale of alcohol to nudists." With that heads up, we'll bring our own. That's one way for me to get rid of some of the beer. (For Tom.) I'll take up a bottle of rum and some diet cokes for me.
