Good bi-weekly meeting with my boss
Sep. 10th, 2003 09:16 amYesterday was LONG. Getting up at 4am yesterday kinda did that.
The bookshelves from Office Max were delivered at 9:20am, so I was able to get into the office by 10am. I met with Michael for our presentation rehearsal. There was really no rehearsal involved, just some going over the notes and making sure the equipment worked ok. My boss skipped that meeting, too.
I got caught up on nearly all my work assignments. That led to a good bi-weekly meeting with my boss. I had lots of updates for her, plus I had to get info from her since she missed two other meetings with me so far this week. We talked briefly about the offshore thing. She started to say that I "might be a candidate for displacement" and I stopped her and laughed. I told her we both KENEW I was a candidate to be displayed. We then just talked about training, etc. She decided to invite me to some project manager meetings just so that I could see other people's styles. I like the idea of wasting time in meetings and leaving with no to-do's.
