More packing
Sep. 2nd, 2003 09:45 amMonday holidays are welcomed, but usually busy. Around 11am, we headed down the Peninsula and ate brunch at Franklin St. Caffe in Redwood City. It was a casual place, where you get your own coffee refills. They even had Spenda.
We then went to Steve's for a few hours. They have staged his house with rented furniture and paintings for the walls. It looked very nice. There were several realtor cards on the counter, so it looks like they've already started showing it. Today is the official realtor walk-thru, and the first open house will be Sunday. This time around, I'm sure he'll be able to get some bids fairly quickly.
We packed up a lot of stuff from his closets. It'll still take a few more trips to finish up. We're gone to Guerneville this weekend, then Steve leaves on Tuesday to Spain until monthend. Guess the packing will have to wait until then.
We loaded up the car until it could take no more, then got home around 3:30pm. Didn't take too long to unload. Whew.
