Dentist

I had the quickest dental appointment of my life yesterday. My dentist is less than a block away. I went there at 8:30am, and I returned to the office at 8:55am. I had received no emails, business or otherwise, during that time. Woohoo! I've been to dental offices before where I was in the waiting room longer than that!

I had some excessive gum overlap in one spot that was giving me trouble. The dentist gave me several novocaine shots (which made my nose numb), and I didn't feel anything else after that. He did some "cutting" and some "burning." I felt a bit of discomfort later, but took a couple of Vicodin, and there was no further pain.

I once spent 3 hours just laying in the dentist chair. I was not happy about that.
