Fridge

After coordinating people from SF, Phoenix, and NYC for a conference call yesterday, none of the NYC people got on the line at 10am. Calls to them resulted in voicemails. The call was primarily to get their input. The SF/Phoenix folks talked for about 30 minutes and then one of the NYC guys got on. Apparently there was a production problem there. He rescheduled the meeting for noon. That call got good results. My manager commented positively on my facilitation skills.

After work, I moved the refrigerator out of the way so that on Friday they can haul away the downstairs appliances. I forgot about the copper tubing for the icemaker. Don't think I can undo that, so the fridge is moved mostly out of the way, but with copper tubing in the path. They'll just need to be careful not to trip over it. There's no other available exit for the stuff. Beneath/behind the fridge was filthy. Ugh. Obviously that's one spot that Arthur neglected to clean before we moved in. I also did 4 loads of laundry, and prepped the downstairs fridge to be hauled away.

Went to FCD club night. Eight dancers showed up, so that worked out well. Michael Levy was the caller. Dave Murphy was there. So was Dave Goldberg. Woofs. Goldberg is always quiet at dancing, but he gave some nice prolonged hugs. Ok, I prolonged them, but he didn't complain. Daryl was there, so we had to dance down to his Plus class level. Michael threw in a couple new calls for him, which he got through fine. Got home, watched TV, and folded laundry.

Saw in the paper this morning that Bat Boy has been cancelled in SF. GRRRR! I purposely did not get Palo Alto tickets because I knew it was coming to SF. Besides the one article previously in the newspaper, I've seen nothing advertised for Bat Boy. Their marketing people suck. And they wonder why advanced tickets were slow. They'd better refund my money awfully quick.

My understanding is that, even done well, it's only a so-so show.
