A compatible job for me would be postal clerk. The test looks right up my alley, and I get 5 extra points for being an honorably-discharged veteran. It took me awhile to realize that being an army veteran must add points only because I've already qualified on the rifle range. Why else would it matter? Naturally, openings for postal clerks in SF are non-existent right now.

um... the fact alone that you know how to operate a gun. Makes you qualified to be a postal worker. What other skills do you need?

Besides having qualified as "expert" marksman with a rifle, I also qualified as "expert" on the grenade course. I guess that would come in useful on the days when new phone books are to be delivered.
