fuzzygrufAfter work I caught Caltrain to Belmont. Steve and I then went to his new realtor's office. His realtor, Eddie Azzopardi, seemed quite decent and knowledgeable. A much better first impression than I got from Steve's old dyke realtor. His last name, however, led Steve last night to keep singing "Azzopardi, and I'll sell if I want to" (to the tune of "It's My Party"). My goofy husband.
We then went to U-Haul and got over $80 worth of boxes. Steve will actually be moving in the next couple of weeks. Woohoo! It's been a long time coming. We've got a lot of packing to do. I'm going back down to his place on Friday to see Aida in San Jose, then spend Saturday packing boxes.
Got dinner at Chili's before going square dancing at ECR. Watched them do A2 review. I danced all evening in the "boy" position. I screwed up one Slide Thru and one Right & Left Grand, but Steve goofed them up at the same time, so it was easy to fix. I'm still having problems swinging my partner. I learned several more A1/A2 calls during the week, so it was good to see them in action. They learned the "All Couples" concept, and that looked hideous. It's a very hard concept for me to follow, and a lot of the dancing doesn't flow very well. What were they thinking??!! Steve chatted up Arnold, who was visiting from Vancouver. Woof.
Got to Steve's and watched South Park and Reno 911. I went to bed, while Steve stayed up. His reflux has been very intense this week. I think he crawled into bed around 2am. I didn't set the alarm, but woke up at 6am in time to shower and wake up Steve to take me to the 6:33am train. Mornings come early. Guess I'd better check my lottery ticket.
