I called customer service for the treadmill today. They had me remove the cover on the bottom, which was no small task. Turns out there is a problem with some of the wires connected to the motherboard that need to be replaced. They'll be sending someone over for a service call to replace & fix it for me. Sometime within the week.

I'm sorry that you're having so much trouble with this darned thing. I hope that you don't read anything into it and that you're soon huffing and puffing and sweating... on the treadmill. Now that Steve's back, I'm sure you're already huffing and puffing and sweating in a completely different way.

Ironically, I saw this morning that Home Shopping Network (where I got my ProForm treadmill) was offering the latest version at the same price I paid for mine. One of the nice things about my experience was that I got to pay for it in installments and it came ready to go right out of the box. To date, I've only had one service call but it was a major one (to replace the engine). I'd strongly suggest you extend your warranty!
