Jan. 2nd, 2005 11:23 amI had a vivid dream last night where someone I know died. I'm not close friends with this person, but it's someone about whom I think highly. It's the second within six months where I dreamed that this person died.
When I passed out a couple weeks ago, I had a feeling that I'd die in 2005. That didn't really bother me. Just freakin' morbid!

Date: 2005-01-03 12:05 am (UTC)I think we all (many of us?) have had the death dreams. After 10 or so times with my dream victims unaffected by my sleeping sub-conscious, those dreams don't bother me so much. They are good for minutes of "Do I want him dead?", "Do I want to save him" self-analysis, but I am pleased that I have no special ESP or voodoo skills.
As for the second paragraph, I join the chorus of "better not"s!

Date: 2005-01-03 05:31 pm (UTC)For years in our family it has meant that someone in the family would soon be wed and the wedding would be beautiful. In some circles it means a birth, the opposite of death. To be unable to identify the dead person means a windfall of money for you, To talk to a dead relative is a sign of great good luck.
