Today's Job Fair

Steve and I both went to the job fair today. As we entered The Center, we were greeted by rampagebear, who was there for some class. Woofs.

I got a couple leads, and I met Patrick, who moved into 217 Douglass about a year ago.

Came back to Starbears aftewards. Easy to spot numerous guys who had been to the job fair. I haven't ever seen so many ties in that Starbucks. I hate wearing ties. Heck, I hate wearing clothes.

I hate job hunting. I'm not in full-fledge mode yet, but I did update stuff on Dice.com yesterday, and I applied for a couple of jobs on there. I'll try to hit up the outplacement services company next week. Schwab paid for a few days there, so I'll take advantage of it.

Steve's off to work the Eck Center this afternoon. I'm thinking to grab the Sedaris book and go back up to Kite Hill. I haven't read any of it since my last time up there. Seems like my vision is ready to go back to reading.

Tonight I'll probably stop by FCD club night.

Ick. I didn't occur to me that you'd have to curtail your reading. If I had to go through a few weeks unable to read, I think I'd kill somebody. I'm glad your eyes are recovering!
