Thursday dancing, eye update
Sep. 10th, 2004 07:40 amWith nothing else going on, I went to Foggy City's club night last night. Ended up with 9 dancers, plus ML as caller. Two of the dancers were from class, so we stuck with class level. I remember learning a lot by attending club nights while still in class. To make things easier on himself, ML did teach them a couple new things. That'll make 'em better for class.
Steve C. and I took turns sitting out. It's kinda painful to dance that level, but at least you know it's helping the students.
I was in a funk all day, which last into the evening. I hope the funk goes away today. I've got muffins to attend to.
My eye seems to have gotten worse over the past few days. I know that it's probably just the scar tissue working itself out, but it's frustrating. The uneven vision is giving me headaches, and wearing glasses is a pain in the ass. I see the eye doctor next Thursday.

Date: 2004-09-10 04:36 pm (UTC)The dancing is such a great way to spend time. I wish more people danced.
As for the eye, isn't it amazing how in a short time one can cause damage, but that it takes ages to fix the damage? So unfair.
Muffins? - Said in a tone resembling that used to say 'Scooby snack?'
