Eye Carumba

Went to the other eye doctor this afternoon. He alternated between saying "That's really bad" and "That's not so bad." He put me on display for another doctor. I uttered, "Oh! Show and tell!" They laughed. They were amazed that I wasn't writhing more in pain. I let them know that the Vicodin was working. They were still surprised. I've listened to Steve tell a joke 83 times in a row. I can handle pain.

He put all kinds of dyes in my eye again. One was a really deep greenish blue. He had me look in the mirror. "Mardis Gras," he said. Very pretty. I'll have to see him again before Halloween.

He thinks things will heal okay. He patched up the eye and will see me again tomorrow morning at 7:45am.

Butt pirates

Since I was at the motel, my stuff was all in the overnight kit. At home, the medicines are in different places. I'm so nearsighted that different colors wouldn't work for me. Someone suggested putting rubberbands on them, too.

Now I've got to go to In-Jean-ious on Castro tomorrow to see if they have any more of those "Butte Pirates" t-shirts. Thanks for the idea!
