Eye Carumba

Went to the other eye doctor this afternoon. He alternated between saying "That's really bad" and "That's not so bad." He put me on display for another doctor. I uttered, "Oh! Show and tell!" They laughed. They were amazed that I wasn't writhing more in pain. I let them know that the Vicodin was working. They were still surprised. I've listened to Steve tell a joke 83 times in a row. I can handle pain.

He put all kinds of dyes in my eye again. One was a really deep greenish blue. He had me look in the mirror. "Mardis Gras," he said. Very pretty. I'll have to see him again before Halloween.

He thinks things will heal okay. He patched up the eye and will see me again tomorrow morning at 7:45am.

But seriously I hope your eye heals nicely and that the pain goes away. Those OTC nail fungus drops don't work. They're sold as supplements to get around the FDA approval process. My doctor in NYC told me more than a few times that the clotrimazole solution, the stuff that's sold as Lotrimin drops in the tiny clearish plastic bottles, sometimes removes tail fungus if applied for about a year once a day, using an emory board to make the infected nail as thin as possible so the clotrimazole can seep down to the nail bed.
