First day of vacation
Jun. 1st, 2010 08:58 pmThis morning I hiked up to Buena Vista Park. Despite it being nearby, I had never been there. It's a pretty steep climb. The park is mostly trees, with lots of hiking trails. It's a lot bigger than I thought. Very serene.
Then I hiked to the top of Corona Heights. I figured out that I could see into my bedroom window if the blinds weren't drawn.
I came back home, then Steve and I went to Chevy's on Howard for lunch to get a free birthday-club entree. Then Steve suggested going to SFMOMA for free museum day. It wasn't too crowded. They had an exhibit of regional photos, mostly from late 1800's and early 1900's. I love old pics of San Francisco.
Then we went to Ross for senior discount day. Remind me to let Steve do that on his own from now on.
Went to Starbears and hung out with the guys before coming home to make pita pizzas for dinner.
