Pac Heights morning
May. 11th, 2010 07:24 amWith the reduced Muni schedule, it's tougher to figure out which bus to attempt in the morning. NextBus showed one coming in 10 minutes, so I grabbed a banana, my badge, my wallet, and I was out the door.
I boarded the bus at 18th & Castro and realized it was only 6:02am. (It's about a 12-minute ride in the morning.) The doors to my office building don't open until 6:30am, so today I continued past Sutter Street and got off at Jackson. I walked up the hill to catch a morning view of the Bay from Broadway & Divisadero. It doesn't seem that long ago that Angel Island was on fire, but today it was looking pretty green.
I strolled back to work past those giant, multi-million dollar mansions in Pacific Heights. It was a great morning for a walk. I love my City.
