My pal Bart told me sometime last week that he heard of a cookie made with bacon and peanut brittle. That sounded interesting.

I didn't pick up any peanut brittle this week, but I thought I'd try adding bacon to chocolate chip cookies. They came out okay. Next time I might use half as many chocolate chips. I didn't think the bacon flavor stood out, but it did lend some interesting saltiness.

I just altered a basic chocolate chip recipe by adding a box of instant vanilla pudding with the flour, and candied bacon bits with the chocolate chips.
