Practically a final

Tonight is my potions class final exam. I'll be happy to have it over! Tonight will be a practical exam, where we do a few things in the lab, like naming equipment, procedures, doing some measurements, probably check for starch, check for chloride, check pH of acids/bases, dilute some concentrations, etc. Should be much easier than the rest of class has been. I hope I'm not wrong!

The lab grade is not separate. They just lump that in with the final chemistry score. Checking my scores last night, it looks like I still have a solid B. I'm disappointed that I'm not bright enough to get an A in the class, but science is hard. *flips hair*

Before my test, I go see my surgeon for a follow up. I hope he can tell me that the current healing status is temporary, cuz I'm not too thrilled so far.

it can't be good

I'm just going on record predicting there will be some major problem in the clinic today resulting from this afternoon's reckless overscheduling.

Golf Chinese!

I was eating at a fine dining establishment at lunch today, knowing that special orders didn't upset them, and I heard "Golf Chinese!" "Golf Chinese!"

Some homeless guy with Tourette's had wandered in, maybe looking for, I dunno, a clue or something. "Golf Chinese! Golf Chinese!" Weird. He left, only to return 10 minutes later, "Golf Chinese! Golf Chinese!" Whatever.

This afternoon I went over to Parnassus for a follow-up with my surgeon. After the appointment, I caught the #43 bus to go to potions class. I snagged of the two "solo" seats on the bus. My happiness over a choice seat faded quickly. Even with iPod earphones in place, I could hear "Golf Chinese! Golf Chinese!" Oh gawd. He was on the bus sitting across from me. Luckily, he got off at 9th Avenue, spreading the "Golf Chinese" motto.
