I awoke this morning to hear the strong winds of an apparent storm. Storms make me want to just curl up and stay in bed a bit longer.

There's no storm. The "winds" turned out to be Steve's new CPAP. That could turn out to be some nice white noise for me!

I did pop my head out the front door this morning just to check. No storm. There was a pamphlet on the doorstep. Wrong again. It wasn't a pamphlet, but what now passes as the San Francisco Chronicle. Mondays generally have the smallest newspaper of the week, but sheesh.

This morning was pretty light at work. I worked through my usual lunchtime and left at 1:30pm for the day to go to a doctor's appointment.

The doctor was located at 400 Parnassus on the 6th floor. The view from there on a clear day is incredible. If you're sightseeing, it's probably one of the best views in the City (except for the dirty windows). You can see downtown, part of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marin Headlands, and the ocean. It is also high above Golden Gate Park. If you're stuck in a waiting room, that's the one to be in!

It was such a beautiful day. I decided to walk home. There were a couple blocks of big hills, but it wasn't too bad. It was only a twenty minute walk. Who knew? I love my City.
