I start my job on May 22nd
May. 3rd, 2006 04:58 pmYeah, so my job start date is May 22nd. I hope I get the following Memorial Day off as a paid holiday. :-) See? I'm already exhausted!
I went to my diabetes training class today. We learned all about having amputations, becoming blind, and having strokes & heart attacks. Fun times. The class was made better because there was a familiar face from Starbears there. I see him a lot, but I've never really talked to him. He rode back on the #33 with me.
Next Wednesday is my appointment with the dietician. We eat out a lot. Walking home from the bus stop, I another dang menu rubberbanded to all the front gates. It occurred to me that it might be a good idea to take to the dietician some menus from some of the restaurants we frequent. Maybe she'll find some regular things off of the menu that I can order.
