Yummy

Chef kitchenbeard just came over and whipped up dinner for tonight and several more meals for double_ohsteven to enjoy. Man, what a treat! Yummy, and I don't have to fret about what to have around the house that Steve can easily prepare one-handed for himself while I'm at work. It'll let me spend more time relaxing with Steve.

At the particular clinic where I'm externing, only nurses are allowed to give injections. Even though I'm trained to do it, I'm not allowed. However, since they know that I'll probably do it elsewhere, they are at least letting me observe. I observed two vaccinations today. In both cases, I had checked in the patients and took their vital signs. Both patients separately mentioned to my trainer that I "was so nice!" I obviously like hearing this feedback, but I think the main thing is that I'm convinced that I should be in a job with at least some public contact rather than squirreled away in some cubicle.
