Steve was having brunch with a friend yesterday, so I packed some square dance calling instruction stuff and headed to Starbears. The books remained in my backpack, though.

Turns out that the beautiful day brought out lots of guys. I usually just sit and watch people, but I ended up chatting with lots of folks. [livejournal.com profile] glovercom was there chatting with St. John the Divine. That's the second weekend in a row for me to see the pre-lubed wonder. Then [livejournal.com profile] squalidbear came in for a beverage. Soon there was [livejournal.com profile] drewbearsf and Joe and [livejournal.com profile] kevin_v5. DJ Frank and Steve showed up, and we chatted with a fellow named Bill. Soon I was viewing gauge differences between Steve & Bill's PA's. On the sidewalk in front of Starbears. I love my City.

The sun brought additional hot guys out. Even Frank M. made an obligatory walk by.

Saw and/or chatted with [livejournal.com profile] pyrogeoff, [livejournal.com profile] ricksf, [livejournal.com profile] pseudocub1, Gary, Philip, Chuck, Ken, Mike, Gil, [livejournal.com profile] bearzbub, [livejournal.com profile] xlgmeat, [livejournal.com profile] xbearxrx, [livejournal.com profile] buffcub, [livejournal.com profile] citycraig, [livejournal.com profile] texasfurr, [livejournal.com profile] iahklu, [livejournal.com profile] theotherdon, [livejournal.com profile] devldog, [livejournal.com profile] spaceybear, [livejournal.com profile] cajunbear, and saw [livejournal.com profile] sflonestar walk past with bf in tow. Lots of other hot guys. Great scenery.

FOUR HOURS LATER, I pick up my prescriptions and head home. Steve's friend leaves soon after. Steve naps while I watch some VH1 show about the most shocking events regarding Michael Jackson. Freak.

I got Steve a Muni pass for his birthday. It comes in handy. For dinner, we caught the #33 bus to the J line and went to Eric's in Noe Valley. It's been too long since I've been there. Definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant. Afterwards, we must have just missed a J-car, cuz we waited in the breezy, cool evening for at least 25 minutes. Some local gay guy came by ten minutes into our wait and shared the not-much-of-a-shelter Muni shelter. He was friendly and talked real estate while we waited and waited.

Eventually got home and Steve and I played some Scrabble before going to bed.
