First injections

Guess I must mentioned some pertinent stuff in restricted posts, or buried them in boring long-assed posts. So to clear things up:

I am NOT working. I am a student at Bryman college. That is located in downtown SF, kitty-corner to the Metreon at 4th & Mission. I am studying to become an Xray Technician. I'll be going to school for about a year and a half. I attend Monday through Friday, 8am-noon.

Today was my first day to do injections. We practice on each other. The two of us who learned today were a bit nervous. I guess that's why they give us 7 months to practice this. We each gave one Deltoid injection and one Subcutaneous injection. It wasn't too bad. It wasn't too good, either. Experience will make things better.

My instructor saw my bear paw tattoo, and she then remembered to make a note about not injecting tattoos. She did ask about the tattoo, so I outed myself as a bear. She just nodded, unknowningly.

Drama Queen

I watched "Mean Girls" about a week ago, probably after seeing a quote from bigreddee or someone. I enjoyed the movie fine. I liked the soundtrack a lot, so I purchased it from Amazon.

Amazon also recommended the soundtrack from "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen." I went with a gut instinct and purchased it as well, even though I've never heard any of the songs. (I don't keep up with music too well, pop or otherwise.) I'm liking the bouncy tunes. Especially "Na Na" by Superchick.

(Does anyone know if that movie is any fun? I'm guessing no.)

One thing I hate about CD's is that damned sticky thing at the top of the case that's a pain to remove. On the Muni home from school today, I looked down and saw that about a one inch part of the sticky label from the CD had adhered to my jeans. The only words on it? "Drama Queen."
