Thursday dancing cut short
Sep. 2nd, 2004 08:27 pmSteve's car needed a new part that may not be in until Friday, so we didn't make it to ECR last night.
We went out to dinner at Blue. That was my first time to eat there. The Mac & Cheese with chicken was really good. I'll order that again. Our service was very good. I just didn't like the fact that it was so cramped and noisy. Came home and played Scrabble, then watched South Park.
Today was fairly uneventful. I really need to get my focus/vision going. Both physically and mentally. My eye didn't hurt as much today. I still can't see 100% out of the right eye, though. It gives me a bit of a headache to read with "lopsided" vision. I tried closing my left eye and reading some music, but it just wasn't happening too well. Still, it's getting better.
Went to Osaka for lunch. Much cheaper at lunchtime. Stopped at Starbears afterwards and saw
markosf. Woof.
Came home and I worked on my street sign graphics today for a bit, but I got overwhelmed. I'm at a point where the right tools and training would sure come in handy to get my ideas to come alive.
Steve made a great chicken parmigian for dinner. YUMMY. This man is a catch.
I went to C2 dancing at Midnight Squares. Pete Hermann was calling. There were only 6 dancers. Besides me, it was Don, Larry, Jeff, Galen, and Hollis. We danced with two phantoms for about 45 minutes before calling it quits. We did okay, and I picked up a few things. As for phantoms, I did pretty well for the usual setups. For the unusual setups, did make a few things fairly difficult! They decided to make tonight "no charge."
