Wednesday had lunch at Castro Tarts. Cheapest place for lunch in the Castro.

Stopped at Starbears and saw [livejournal.com profile] markosf, whom I just met the night before. Frank was there. I really need to stalk him more. I've been neglecting my duties.

We drove down to Redwood City to Steve's RV. I've never seen it. Steve hasn't visited it in years. He just pays storage fees. Every month. After eventually finding the place (Steve couldn't remember where it was), we got to the RV to find that someone had parked too close, and the only door to Steve's RV was inaccessible. Crap! I saw that it was just the trailer hitch that was blocking the door. I was able to manually wheel it a few inches, which gave us access to the door. Whew! We went through his stuff and took anything that he could possibly need or use (plus three bags of other junk that Steve seemed to put in the "need or use" category). Next thing to do is to arrange for one of the those vehicle charity places to take it off Steve's hands.

Went down to Mountain View and had dinner at the sushi boat place. Then off to ECR. The RV took longer than planned, so we arrived about 30 minutes late. Advanced dancing was okay.

Michael Levy started his audition at 7:30pm. During that first Plus tip, someone did something to piss me off for the rest of the night. I tried to tell myself that I control my own reaction to things, but I still let the incident bother me. Even dancing later with [livejournal.com profile] excessor didn't much help. He could have at least goofed up or something to make me laugh. Some friend!

Paul facilitated a short meeting regarding next year's convention. That was quick and painless. [livejournal.com profile] excessor is one of the few non-callers (okay, so he HAS called before) that I don't mind seeing with a mic. (That list is about down to him and Oprah at this point.)

Neil Heather auditioned after that.

Next week Harlan Kerr and Dave Decot are auditioning. It's nice to see that there were several people interested.

Man, the time is flying. I've been trying to accomplish certain things every day to make sure I just don't sit home and waste the time on the computer. I've been getting some things done, but boy, the days go quickly!

I went ahead and applied for some bartending school. May as well do the training while I have the time, even if I don't get around to using it. I'll be signing up soon for t-shirt screenprinting training as well.

We got lunch at Tommy's Joint on Van Ness today. Don't think I'll return. Weird ambience. Too near the senior center, I suppose.

We saw Shrek 2 today. That was cute. I like TOTALLY thought of Tater Tot Bob when I saw the Muffin Man. Sporting a van dyke, no less. Saw a preview for the Spongebob movie. "NOW EVEN SQUARIER!" *giggle*

Caught the #49 bus to Market. At the bus stop, some guy smiled, then came over to us. He kinda looked like [livejournal.com profile] whereispaco. I love it when the first words of introduction are "Do you guys ever play?" I really like pushy bottoms aggressive guys. This afternoon wasn't good, but I gave him my number. He called, and I'll probably see him later tonight at the Lone Star.

In the mail today was an envelope from Schwab. It was a bonus check. The amount wasn't too much, but it was unexpected. Gotta like that!

Tonight is Bears In Boxers night at the Lone Star. I think it's from 8-11pm. I have C2 dancing until 9:30pm, but will probably get there a bit after 10pm.
