Another busy work day yesterday. I woke up at 4am all stressed about work, but that subsided as the day went on and work was done. Before going into the office, I did read the lottery numbers in the paper with more-than-usual hope. With those hopes quickly dashed, I just made for a productive day.

Got home and took out the trash bins. Steve was working out problems with his SanDisk card reader, but he finally got it to work. Got to see several pics from the naked square dance weekend. I'll try to get some copies and post them.

Steve went to nap around 5:30pm. I grabbed something quick for dinner, then headed off to Diamond Street for square dancing at Midnight Squares C2/C3A club night. )

Went home thinking maybe I should've dragged someone along, then I found that Steve was still in bed. Wow, that boy was tuckered out. I had fully expected him to be out at The Edge or at the LS. He got up, and we played a game of Scrabble. I finished packing for our weekend trip, then went to bed. I dreamed about having a good time dancing C2.

I'll be blog-free for a couple days. I'm heading to the Russian River after work today with [livejournal.com profile] double_ohsteven for "Stumptown Stomp." It's the annual weekend "fly-in" hosted by the square dance club from Sacramento. Mike Kellog and Bronc Wise are the callers, so it should be a good time. Both of them tend to call very fast-paced, which I love. The schedule was posted yesterday, and there's a bit more C1 dancing scheduled than I previously thought. Great!

We're staying at the Triple R, but most of the weeekend we'll be off dancing. We'll hit the bars on Friday & Saturday night, and it looks like there's a good place in the schedule to hang by the pool on Saturday afternoon.
