Tuesday work

Another busy, busy day at work. In sizing a project that looked on the surface like 40-50 hours of work, it turns out to be a much bigger issue. The damned quantity field in a major database is much smaller than standards dictate. It'll be a several month project. Egads.

My boss was out sick again. I'm not sure the doctor can prescribe anything for bad Karma. She's out sick again today. My bi-weekly two-against-one turned into a one-on-one instead. Uneventful, although the C went to someone asking about a project they're doing with me. She said, "don't tell Gary I asked for this info." Of course, they did tell me, LOL. Their info just backed up what I said, so no big deal.

I did have a business partner stab me in the back about something else. Oh people, don't cross me! When will they learn?

Got home and watched Significant Others and then QEftSG. I'm finding S.O. to be really funny. On QEftSG, I screamed at the TV when they shaved his moustache. Trimming it was okay, but removing it was not. With it, he looked like a hunky model. Without it, he was just seemed plain. Of course, getting rid of the mullet would improve anyone.
