(Reposted from Sunday)
Steve stayed home while I took Muni to the LS around 5pm. Hung around there for a couple hours and then walked over to Bearhug. I wasn't expecting to work, but Trey put me up front right away. No problem, although I felt bad that I hadn't arrived sooner to help out. The hot tub wasn't working, so everyone was getting a $1 discount. Usual $15 buddy card entries were now $14, and regular $18 entry was $17. We kept running out of one dollar bills for change. Eek.
I got with a few different guys who were in the sling. I love functional furniture. I also spent some time with one of the students in the square dance class, same as last week. Woof.
JC mentioned that he's scheduled a Mr. Lone Star contest for October 25th. Ah, giving up my crown at last. Without being able to do benefits at the LS since early spring due to their occupancy problems, having the title hasn't been a big thing. I'm glad that I was able to get in one benefit before they were eliminated, but it would've been nice to do more.
