Steve's flight got in around 10pm on Saturday night. Never having parked in short-term (or anywhere) at SFO, I found it to be a breeze. I was pleasantly surprised at the ample parking. Compared to short-term parking in Kansas City, this lot was a ghost town.

We got home a bit before 11pm. Steve seemed a bit tired from his super long day, but he sure was good about getting reacquainted. Woof.

Steve's timing was askew and he woke up pretty early on Sunday. Grrrr. 5am is not a good Sunday morning time. Still, it's good to have him home. It was great to have him there this morning when I was getting ready for work. I really missed him!

I laughed, I cried. This article in Sunday's Chronicle has been posted to the wall of my cube.

John Stephens roped me into working the 11am-1pm shift at the BOSF beer booth for Folsom. I usually work the 1-3pm or 2-4pm shifts. Well, now I can tell you that the 11am shift isn't nearly as fun.

I didn't have to wait long for Muni, and I got to the fair just after 10:30am. Way early. I got off at Van Ness and took 11th to Folsom. Stopped to chat with some bears at the SBB booth, then wandered over to 9th Street. Stopped at a medical booth and chatted with Ralph who was working there. I found the BOSF booth, tucked on the south side of 9th & Folsom. God it was cold. It was overcast, and the wind was blowing. My t-shirt, vest, and mini-chaps were not keeping me warm. Furtummy, John, and Larry kept taking turns giving me hugs to warm me up.

After a slow start, sales picked up some. I did a good job flirting. I really should be in retail. A trio of naked men stayed in the vicinity of our booth for awhile. Two of them had big, thick cocks. They got lots of attention and had their photos taken frequently. They also received an occasional blowjob from passersby. I love my City.

Steve showed up right at 1pm, the end of my shift. The sun had come out, and it warmed up some. Thank God. We walked around and got Steve something to eat. I even had a beer. First beer in 4 months. Not having lost weight in over a month, I've decided to go off Atkins. I'll try to avoid most refined sugars and starches, but balanced meals and exercise seem the best route. I've got to admit that exercise is mandatory. Beer is not good for the figure, but rum has been knocking me on my ass.

Ran into lots of square dancers. Saw Italian Mario spanking some guy. With a bottle of Aquafina in one hand, it just seemed too casual.

We got to the Lone Star a bit after 2pm. Vic & Dave were there. I haven't visited with Vic in ages, so that was great. We stayed at the LS until about 7pm. I interspersed bottles of beer with bottles of water and got a nice buzz. Buzzed enough to kiss Guillermo for awhile. I lost track of how many guys Steve kissed. I think he's glad to be back home! Towards the end of our stay, I looked for Steve. I ran into Frank, who asked me where I was going. He told me to kiss a man, cuz that's when the husband always shows up. I took that as my opportunity to give him a kiss. Boy, he sure doesn't know a thing about being stalked. I continue my search for Steve. After doing a lap out back, I found him in front not too far from Frank, making out with Murph. Yep, Frank was right, LOL.

Had a great time at the LS. Yay for beer!

We left and immediately caught a cab. We got left off near Bearbucks and went to the Sausage Factory for dinner. We ran into Daniel. I then ran into Furtummy, while Steve was chatting up a couple near the restrooms. Their names were Gary & Steve, LOL. I avoided bread at dinner. Had the chicken cacciatore, which came with just a few pieces of penne. My first pasta in months, and I didn't overdo it.

I did the treadmill at the gym this morning. Gotta keep this up. Going off Atkins is one thing, but I definitely don't want to gain back anything.

One of the best lines yesterday was when Steve related his story of going to the bear bar in Seville. Victor quickly pointed out the pun that it was the "Bear Bar of Seville." Steve repeated that opera title most of the afternoon.
