Friday night
Sep. 27th, 2003 03:33 pmI went to The Edge around 5pm. It was already very packed. None of my usual Friday crowd was there, and I wandered towards the back. I hung out there for about an hour. Clipperbear came up and said hi. He's in town for Folsom. I met him two years ago at The Edge on the Friday before Folsom. Happy anniversary!
I left around 6:15pm. I ran into Donovan who said that John & Jeff were at Daddy's. I popped in there quickly to give John a hug before heading to Bearhug.
Working the front desk was especially fun last night. There was a $3 discount if they were wearing a cockring. I made them "prove" it. Some required "further" inspection. I hung out up front until 9pm, then hung out in the kitchen for awhile before going downstairs. Had a brief encounter with one of the FCD students. Otherwise, nothing too memorable.
I walked over to the Lone Star about midnight. Stood in line for about 20 minutes or so. Geoff the Pyro was in line behind me and told me all about the grumpy cops at the Bbonfire. Does the City have nothing better to do than break up a good time?
Greg & Jeff showed up. Greg was toasty and extra friendly. I like friendly. It was a fun night there. Frank and Vincent were there. Woofs. At closing time, Frank asked me how I was getting home, and I replied "by taxi." He said, "No, I'll drive you home." How the hell am I supposed to stalk him if he offers me rides? Guess he doesn't understand the stalking thing very well! ;-)
I've been busy with laundry, etc., today. Steve called. He was in New York for his layover. Less than 6 hours before my honey gets home!
