Pleasant Day in Pleasant Hill

fuzzygrufI woke up pretty early on Saturday morning. Had coffee and the read the newspaper. I got ready, and I was out the door around 9am.
I caught Muni to Civic Center, then boarded the 9:16am BART to Pleasant Hill to help angel Peggy's C1 square dance class. I boarded BART car 10, out of duty as a gay man, but nothing has ever happened during my BART rides.
Got to Pleasant Hill at 10am. I bought a couple diet cokes for the day. I walked from the BART station to LaChiem school. The walk took about 25 minutes. The sun was out, and I took off my shirt to get some rays. I found a bench by the baseball diamond, and stretched out in the sun for a half an hour. Felt nice.
Dancing took place in the gym instead of outside. Grrrrrr. Oh well. I could go outside during the breaks. There were 9 students and 3 angels. One of the students, Stu, I hadn't met before. Turns out he is the president for that club. He is cute, so that made the day even brighter.
The dancing was okay. The group of students is a lot of fun. Peggy called one call, "Touch," and this pair of lesbians did some inappropriate touching. Peggy laughed so much that she had to stop calling for a bit. A couple of the students are doing really well. Now that they've been exposed to all of the C1 calls, maybe we can get Roz to come out to the Thursday night class and help out. Helping out this class has made me even stronger at C1, so helping out pays off.
Tom offered me a ride back to the City, but I know how much time it takes to get over the bridge on the weekend. Instead, Stu gave me a ride to the BART station. Car 10 of the BART again proved boring. I was back at Starbears in the Castro within the hour.
Steve was away at some Eckankar thing down in Redwood City. I settled in at home and watched the first two tapes of Tales of the City. Steve came home, and we played Scrabble. I then started to watch the third tape, but fell asleep before the end of it. I can't remember the last time I watched a video at home. It's nice, but there's just so much else I could be doing!
