I've heard of square dance groups that were by invitation-only. Usually for higher-level dancers. Whatever.

Last night I got an invite to attend/angel an invitation-only C1 class. My schedule really doesn't allow for it, although getting more floortime at C1 would be a good thing. I said I'd think about it. I'd have to take BART and give up several hours on a Saturday. Doesn't sound too appealing.

Still, getting an invite is always nice.

I know I would never want to be in those invitation only classes. I understand the point, but the shift in attitude usually just makes it too stressful. Mess up too much and you won't get invited back.

I was always getting invited to the GLADSC workshops when I lived in southern calif. As I danced at A when everyone else was at plus (except for the challenge dancers) they were fun especially when Anne U was teaching.

I've never heard of an invitation only class though.

I'm learning a lot about dancing!

Hey Fuzzygruf,

I didn't know that square dancing was so complicated! A long time ago my grandparents use to take square dancing lessons and did some competitions, etc. I wonder what level they were?

I don't think I've ever square danced in my house, I bet I totally suck.
