Huggy Bears
Jun. 8th, 2003 10:50 amWe ate lunch at the Cove yesterday. Reuben sandwich and tomato soup. Trying to get in some last minute non-Atkins stuff before Monday's diet begins.
We tooked Muni (yeah, Steve!) to Copeland Sports to get Steve some new sneakers. He looked and looked and looked. I saw nothing for me. He usually wears a normal size D, but he ended up getting a super wide EEEE pair. That was the only width in size 10 for that style, and he said they are comfortable. We'll give 'em a try dancing on Tuesday. If they end up being too wide, he'll return them. He looks great in white sneakers. Much younger looking.
Stopped at Walgreens for some stuff for Steve, and I looked for a birthday card for Rob. Surely they have some non-threatening birthday card for a straight guy. I didn't see anything worthy. Yep, off to DYMK. Took me a bit longer than usual, but I found something appropriate. Steve had opted for Starbucks rather than DYMK. I found him chatted with Rick about square dancing. Rick always goes on and on about my dancing abilities. I don't know what to say. Yeah, my brain works with square dancing. I'm fortunate that way.
Got home around 3pm. I had much to do, but Steve wanted to play Quiddler. Fine. I won. Turns out I interpreted the rules wrong since we started. Oops. I made things harder. Maybe next time I'll enjoy the game more. It'll make it go more quickly, that's for sure. I hate long games.
I didn't get much accomplished yesterday, and I was cranky. Steve puts up with a lot.
I napped for about 45 minutes, then got ready to go to the Lone Star. Steve then took an additional 45 minutes to get ready. Grrrrr. Got to the Lone Star at 5:35pm. Very few people were there. Chatted with
I left the LS at 6:30pm to walk to the Bearhug. Steve wimped out again. I headed up to catch the #14 Mission Street bus at Mission and 11th. Waited for awhile with others, then saw the bus turn down 9th Street. ???????? Grrrrr. I decided that I needed to walk to Bearhug in order to be there in time to start my 7pm shift. Turns out that workers were dismantling the Fell Street ramp, so Mission Street was closed for a few blocks. That's why the bus had detoured. It also interrupted my path to the 14th Street house, but figured it out without much problem, although I jogged parts of the way to get there on time. Got there right at 7pm. I hate being late for anything. I was #38. It was superbusy during my 2-hour shift. When I got off duty, we were up to #130. I've never seen so many guys there at once. Lots of LJ'ers there. I won't mention them by name, but don't mind if they mention that I was there. I went downstairs, and it was packed. I walked around and saw some interesting scenes. One hot guy I checked in was getting fucked while also being spat upon. Ick. I wandered upstairs, and it was full up there, too! They had installed a flatscreen Sony TV on the wall, so there was video upstairs, too. Lots of eyes on that wall, so it was a bit different. I headed downstairs and into the kitchen. I'd been off-duty for an hour, but no action for me. David & Rhoda showed up, so we chatted awhile. I went downstairs again. Wandered around, but nothing for me. Gotta watch some good stuff. I did end up connecting with some tall, cute guy. He was quite passionate, and it was fun. Even got to fuck him and made him cum. First Steve, then him. Twice in one day. Go me! I was tired, but finally satisfied. I headed upstairs. On my way out, one of my regular fuckbuddy's at the party pulled me aside and molested me for a bit. I just wanted to head home, so I let him down. Grrrrr.
Got home and crashed. Steve arrived about 30 minutes later. Slept late this morning, now off to church....
Thank you
