Besides the weigh-in during the day yesterday, work was pretty busy. They DID cancel that one project for which I kept asking questions. Seems that it would reflect on my boss that she assigns bad work, but no, they always seem to deflect it to somehow be my problem. Bastards.

Got home and went through my health receipts for 2003. Lots are missing. WTF? I must have moved them to my other "filing" pile downstiars. I did find the receipt for my new glasses and credit card information for dental work. Between those, I paid way more than I set aside for my health savings account, so I just now need to get a detailed receipt from my dentist and then I can get reimbursed. I go to my dentist for a checkup tomorrow afternoon, so I can get it then.

Got the battery installed to my pedometer. I've got to figure out the calibration. At one setting, it takes 3 or 4 steps to register as one, and the other end of the spectrum is too generous. I did wear it during square dancing last night, and it registered about 3500 steps during the two hours. The walking between my home and Muni this morning and then from Muni to my office was about 1900 steps (at the conservative calibration), so getting 10,000 steps in a day doesn't seem like it'll be much extra work, if any. Guess I'll see how a full day registers.

Went to Firewood for dinner before going to FCD for dancing. Richard G. had the cutest damned haircut. Woofs. DG showed up. Woofs. Andy was sick, so Michael Levy filled in. I'm sure it must be tough to substitute at the last minute, but it tended to be painful. Some students hadn't danced in a couple weeks, and you could tell. Some are just bad. There are a few there who do really well, but the others made the night painful. Also, Michael's way of teaching some calls seemed confusing. I felt bad for the students. I got aggravated when Steve took too long making an announcement about Squares for Bears. I tend to always get aggravated at long announcements from anybody. I took it out on Steve by beating him badly at Scrabble when we got home. ;-)
