Got some good stuff done at work yesterday. Had a helpful phone conversation with my business partner in Phoenix. That led to the project being put on hold. Happens with my projects a lot, and then my boss blames me for not getting it done. B.

I bought a pedometer yesterday, but still need to get batteries for it. I've never had one, so it'll be interesting to see how far I actually walk in a day and how that changes on square dance days.

I went to my doctor in the afternoon. I hadn't gotten a chance to get my lab stuff done, but every time I tried to call in the last two weeks to postpone the appointment, they were out on vacation and not taking calls. Decided to show up anyhow. My weight was "only" up 13 pounds, which was a surprise. I thought it would be even higher. It could be that I have lost a couple pounds in the last week or so. To really prevent me from alchohol bingeing, I asked the doctor to prescribe Antabuse. That makes you violently ill if you have any alchohol within 36 hours or so. Not sure why parents of teens don't make their kids take that. It's not something I'll take all the time, but it'll be a good deterrent on occasion. I'll get my labs done soon and then go back to the doctor in a few weeks.

Met up with Joe, Dave, and about a half dozen others from WSD for Dave's birthday dinner at Ali Baba's Cave. My combination sandwich was good and filling, although Joe's choice of sitting at the table on the floor was not too comfortable. Dancing at WSD was ok. This year's class is really good. There's one who is much slower than the rest, but even he's not so bad so far. We did an angel tip, and a Grey, one of the new students, came up to me afterwards and complimented my dancing. I love that.

Got home and watched Average Joe. Obnoxious show. Yep, she got rid of the guy with the cold sore right away.

My nutritionist got me on one about a month ago for the 10,000 steps program. Walk, walk, walk - it takes a lot to get to 10k steps (I'm no where near it yet). But I've taken to long routes even around the office to build it up.
