C1 class & BOSF game night

I caught the 5:42pm Caltrain down to Redneck Redwood City. Stopped at Long's and got some Aleve. Square dancing really does a job on your knees. Worse than raffle sales on concrete floors, or blowjobs in the alley.

Got a latte at Starbucks to kill time. A couple guys seated at the counter next to me were hot for some girl who was hanging with some other guys outside. One of the guys came in and said something to them, then they went outside and started to fight. Lovely. A policeman was nearby, so they dispersed before striking any blows.

Class was okay. We were short one person for a third square, so Andy called and danced at the same time. That's gotta be tough. I got my name called out a couple times again. Oops. I'm doing better than most in the class, so I'm fine with making a couple mistakes during the night. There are some in the class who need to be shot. It's a mercy thing. DG was there to angel. Andy called "Counter Rotate," and some people said "Big One," which is the sound effect. I piped in "Size Queen" as a response. DG said "That's me." Darn.

Larry and Don gave me a ride back to the City, and I got home just after 10pm. Steve was still at BOSF game night, so I drove his car over to Mark & Steve's. I even found a parking spot just a few doors down. I got a warm welcome from several people. After seeing the same faces for a couple hours, I guess a late arrival is a good sight. Thank the gods for Attention Deficit Disorder.

Played a couple game of Bear Twister. I body checked Ric & dhbearguy to win the first round. For the second round, I was no match for pyrogeoff, but still had fun. I introduced myself to a couple new folks, and made my rounds to say hello. Rich traded me a cinnamon Listerine tab for a minty one. He pondered what they'd taste like together, so I obviously had to swap spit with him. Inquisitive minds want to know.

Drove Steve home, then we played a game of Scrabble before going to bed.

I've been at FCD class night every Tuesday, and I'll continue to do that if I'm available. My C1 class is on Thursday nights, otherwise I would have been at the FCD party. I'm not the type of person who'd skip class to go to a party.

I was wondering if last night was game night. I had deleted the BOSF activities email by accident the other day. And I just happened to be in the Castro last night around 7ish. And as I was walking down Castro all of a sudden it dawned on me. Is tonight Game Night or was it last night being wednesday. I couldn't remember. I wanted to go too. For once in about the last year and a half. I actually had a game night off from work
